Dave Andrews is uniquely qualified to take the helm in the new field of Cross Media Production. Implementing cross media strategies requires an intimate knowledge of the platforms where content will reside, relationships with the vendors that make it possible and a background in traditional as well as new media production.

Dave Andrews has an extensive animation background and held positions as animation production manager and postproduction supervisor for Disney’s “One Saturday Morning” television series. He subsequently worked as a producer at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, where he designed websites, implemented strategies for grass roots marketing and consulted on developing Internet communities for Sony Pictures Entertainment properties. Andrews has also held positions with Icebox, as producer of experimental on-line programming and gaming. He also produced the Internet show “Mr. Wong” during his time there.

Most recently, Andrews served as Vice President of Production & Interactive Entertainment at GSN, formerly Game Show Network. In this position, Andrews was in charge of managing the production process of interactive television, the company’s online games and mobile initiatives as well other corporate multi-platform digital media endeavors.

Andrews, during his six years with the company, was actively involved in the innovation and implementation of concepts surrounding GSN’s one screen programming interactive service, GSNi, which was created in response to the needs of Cable, Telco and Satellite Operators.

He also was instrumental in launching GSN’s cash game Internet offerings in conjunction with partner FUN Technologies Inc. and its subsidiary WorldWinner. In this role, Andrews was part of the launch of the network’s top performing game show LINGO as a cash online game on FUN’s Worldwinner site. LINGO has been one of Worldwinner’s top-ten best cash game performers.

Andrews is a member of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He also is a four-time Emmy® Award nominee in the category of Interactive Television.
